What is Saloon Cars 3K?
Saloon Cars (Group 3K) is the affordable Australian touring car class running mass-produced Holden Commodore and Ford Falcon sedans. Group A covers VT/VX/VY/VZ Commodores and AU Falcons; Group B covers the older VN/VP Commodores and EA/EB Falcons. It's a CONTROL class — modifications are tightly regulated to keep the racing close and the costs sane.
What parts do you stock for 3K racers?
A growing catalogue of brakes, suspension, drivetrain, engine accessories, and supporting hardware for both makes. Commodore-side we stock GM LS-era components (alternator brackets, oil pans, tensioner brackets) plus older 253/308 V8 parts. Falcon-side: AU coil packs, timing components, ignition gear. Compliance depends on the current Motorsport Australia 3K technical regulations, which can change between seasons. Several 3K mandates are non-negotiable — ABS removed, Pedders Suspension where specified, T5 or Tremec gearbox, control Bridgestone Potenza tyres. We can tell you what we stock and what brands are common in 3K, but final compliance is your responsibility against the current PDF and your scrutineer.
